17 south isn’t the problem 17 north all the 7 axle trash wagons racin up those hills in both the right&center lanes doin 8&10 mph respectively Now that’ll git to ya long before the pulls do[/QUOTE]
Oh yeah I know. I kind of like how they put the extra left lane for cars on the hills.

CB's don't do much good with that Mr. Hard Drive jack arse yapping on his base station all day long. Where is that POS based out of anyway? I'd like to pay him a visit

380 to 33 was a piece of cake thanks gents. My homework for next trip is to find a way around that cluster on 100 between Allentown and Pottsown. Looking at 380 to 80 to 33 to 78 to 309 to 663 to 100. What's 663 like between Quakertown and Boyertown?

663 was closed for bridge construction last I heard, but once it opens up it's not a bad ride

just did king pins and leafs on my 97 at 2.25, only done about 250k myself on her running pa to ma and it was shot, greased once a month (5k)

there’s really not a good way around but i81 to rt 61 (to 419) was the way I went from Pottsville to Newmanstown pa

no matter which way you go, if you have to pull a hill at 28 mph, make sure you stay 3 wide with the container haulers doing 27 mph to defend your honor

Used to be a lot better when Goulet had them big 6 and a quarters at 117k, but like everything else it comes to an end

Depending on time of day 309 gets real backed up 663 not bad but gets real slow also usually until other side of Boyertown
IMHO... and this is what I do and most of my buddies in area
    81-309-443-895-61-73-662-422
Mileage pretty much identical to 33-309 etc
You can also just continue in 61 south to 222south-422 east
    Just my .02

rank and wis bang Thank this.

Musta been asleep when I posted this thought I read Pottsville
    Just posted Scranton to Pottstown
    As for Allentown Pottsville
    I’d still run 222-422
But you can run 662 south off 222 to 422
Lil shorter but it’ll take longer

    rank Thanks this.
