I got punched in the face by an overzealous security officer who accused me of being a perpetrator he was looking for. My crime that warrented the punch? I was asking him to repeat what he said as it was dark and I didn't hear what his question. ( I'm hearing impaired) He was asking me my name with his back turned away from me. He took offense to me asking to repeat what he said by calling me a smart ### then punching me in the face. He was looking for a guy in a green army field jacket. I was wearing a camo one. Big difference but I deserved a punch for asking him to repeat the question right?? Fortunately for me the cops witnessed it. He was charged with assault and lost his job for being an idiot. I recieved an apology from the police and management of the store. That's it. Sometimes security can be the problem. Just saying

Yes the security guard actually turned his back away from me while walking me towards the store . Real professional right? The real cops caught the shoplifter in the green army jacket 5 minutes after I was punched. If the cops didn't just pull up and witness it I wonder what the security guard would have said??

Exactly, If the guard is not trained on how to apprehend a unarmed person without shooting them he certainly should not carry a gun for a living. Don't confuse this with Second Amendment rights.

Frankly...too many drivers these days are the kind that shouldn’t be out here...I’ve been out here long enough to see how bad it’s gotten...basically many of these drivers bring on their own troubles..

The FB post is clearly just one side of the story.

I have serious doubts that "Paul" is just a helpless victim that played no role in the escalation of what happened but who knows.

All anyone can do at this point is speculate.

    ZVar and PE_T Thank this.
