Well Ron, I dont need to google that story, and the fact he killed himself doesn't change my opinion one bit.
And I think any big business will act in such a way as to reflect well on itself when the spotlight turns upon it, so yes I do think there will be a clear reaction from Loves to show the idiots values arent theirs. Similar to Pilot's outpouring of grief when caught scamming a few years ago, couldn't do enough for the drivers, why everyday was like truckers appreciation week.
Then when things die down they'll revert to type obviously but this video has teeth, it'll take an effort to rein this one in.
Security Guard threatens to shoot trucker in memphis.

Love's has already replied to the video an story.
Love’s Responds
A Love’s spokesperson is now speaking out about the entire incident telling TNN the security guard will no longer be allowed on the property.
“Love’s takes this situation seriously and does not tolerate the behavior exhibited by the security guard in this video,” Caitlin Campbell, media relations specialist for Love’s said. “The security guard in this video is not a Love’s employee, but we have contacted the company that sent him to our store, and he will not be allowed back on Love’s property.”
No need to speculate or act like their trying to hide it. They made it pretty clear where they stand on this story.
Guard is now banned from Love's. End of story unless the law gets involved, or dude sues.

Love's can be anal about bobtails parking where the 4 wheelers are. The manager woke me up at the location in Bridgeton, MO. Much like Memphis, that location stays full. The trucker handled that marvelously. The rent a cop tried to throw his weight around. As a resident there, if you can avoid parking in Memphis, do so.

I’ve had the loves in bordentown pull some stupid #### like this. It didn’t escalate to that though. It was around 6pm and I was bobtail but half the lot was closed off for construction. Luckily someone just pulled out so I parked. I made sure to be lined up with the other trucks instead of going all the way in so I didn’t give anyone any false hopes only to be disappointed. Anywho 9pm I get a knock had one of the loves employees tell me and some other bobtail to go to the 4 wheeler side so others with trailers can park I’m honestly okay with that no problem pc down there. Then I get a knock at 6am in the morning with security telling me and all the other bobtail we have to move now. I can understand I don’t own the place so I have no true right to be there but it’s kinda infuriating to get moved around like that. Honestly I avoid bordentown NJ in general now. The petro is $25 to park for the night and reserved parking doesn’t count towards to get it lowered and the loves hassles bobtails and is always full.

IDK, the driver jumping out of the truck and heading straight out towards the security guard in a quick manner like that set the whole mood for the situation, and where it could go. I don't think he did himself any favors with that choice.
The other guy "security" is just doing his job with likely limited information with 90% "lost in translation".
Not much respect given by the driver, what respect is expected to be given? -
Just racist black guy who got a badge and thinks hes a hero and to retaliate at white guy cause his great grandma "we was slaves"
-
You can never expect anyone to know the situation.
Not a good idea to just jump out and agressively run towards them.
Not doubt the security guard was triggered after that.
