It's either going to be a gong show or a fantastic celebration of technology. First place I pick would be the bronx expressway at night...

It will be interesting to see what they will do under the EL's when the satelittle nav goes bye bye....

Here is a quote..
"The plan for New York is to deploy the cars in a special geofenced area in Manhattan, the governor's office said Tuesday."

Basically what that means it it will be 2-5 cars total, in a very well mapped, very well known location. And it will have a driver. So just like Google, and just as pointless as even though it's a very well mapped area, it's still a "complex location" as per the article.
Yet more media blitz about flying cars, err.. mean self driving cars. They'll happen about the same time for more than a hobby.
