Yep ... but based on a lot of posters comments, they don't get it. It's either megas haul cheap or get $4 for every mile.
Same with service ... it's less to do with how great the drivers are and more to do with the ability to pull lanes that others won't.
Seriously? Guess things are getting cutthroat

What is the point of doing this? Are they trying to make a statement or something?

For years, I have been in the habit of doing a walk around every time that I am out of sight of my truck. Every time.Isafarmboy, homeskillet, mjd4277 and 8 others Thank this.

When I was running a a lot of I 5 Cali , Oregon , Washington GTI (Gordon trucking inc) the blue trucks were having big problems with people stealing there trailer wheels and tires. These even put out a reward if someone caught who was doing it. When I drove for J&R Schugell a qc message came across saying someone was drilling lag bolts into the sidewalls of there tires ... sad but true

I bite mega drivers on occasion, but I don’t really consider that as rude, or mean. I take their attempted resistance as rather boorish behavior, however.

Someone will try that chicken$#!t crap with the wrong driver sooner or later. I carry a 2' piece of #3 rebar for a tire thumper. I am a light sleeper. Try me!

I don’t move until I tug test every time after I stop and leave my truck even if everything looks good, I still test. You don’t know how crafty some of these idiots are.

I have no clue the info came from Fakebook so who knows? TTR guys say it been happening for a while. I was @ KW in Springfield and a driver told back in the 80/90s if truckers were striking and you were trying to take loads they’d do stuff like that. He even said they’d even drop cinder blocks on your truck! This guy was a 30 yr driver but could be exaggerating lolJSanborn103 Thanks this.
