ShipEx - Anyone heard of them?

I find it interesting that there is almost nothing outside of their website about the company from drivers

 

I was looking at their safety score and such and i wanted to understand how...if the company is on electronic logs drivers are getting hours of service violations. I'm just curious how their system is set up. I found out they don't have APU'S and they "do" have an idling policy.

 

Well here's the latest update, I've been here going on 3 weeks and not bad so far, the only problem seems to be that I have to go to battle over hometime, this one issue is a big problem! Thier ads say 1 thing but they tell you another... Thier supposely fixing the hometime issue's, the driver's that I have meant all seem to have the same issue, several are looking for another job! My wife say's to wait and see! You would think a company that's growing would have already handled this in order to retain drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes here's the latest update: I gave them back thier truck, They mislead me and my wife about home-time, and openly admitt they have huge issues with this! My son got in a car wreck and I called and was given a choice between them and my family! Java the operations mgr., seems to not care at all! I've had to battle for my requiered hometime, so I decided to leave ShipEx! I should hope that company's out thier try to retain thier drivers and not make them chose between family and trucking!!

 

Hey milehi (bill) how are things. I had to come recover your truck in Denver when u left it there lol. Things have gotten better here. Dispatch finally pulling their head out of their ###. Don't sit anymore. Keep runnin. Getting 13 k average a month now. Home time is still better than most companies. Kinda glad I stuck it out. Got my new 2016 780. Hope all is well my friend

 

I work for these guys. They pay all lumper fees. Salary is nice. I take my time. Don't hurry #### anymore especially now that the weather going south. It's a typical trucking company. Home time is random. But when I get home I take minimum 2 days. Sometimes they want me to leave sooner. I just say no lol and leave when I'm ready and they deal with it honestly. Dispatch was a struggle but they have made changes and things are trending upward. Plus the new equipment is nice. I idle when I need. They have a policy but I just do my thing and as long as it's not excessive I haven't gotten any flack
