Shippers that want to copy your ID? How do you feel about it?

A passport or passport card is the ONLY govt issued ID that doesn’t have your home address on it .

 

I knew a guy who dated lots of women. Many of them half crazy. Lol so he would keep a fake drivers license with a fake name and different address and such in his wallet. And purposely drop it on the floor or something. Knowing the curious nature of women, of course they’re gonna look. Also kept fake documents in his glove box and he would purposely run in the store giving them time to look through it. I asked him why he went to such great lengths. He said something to the effect “I date a lot of women and many of them are bat #### crazy, I leave no followable trail and this will send the crazy ones looking in the wrong direction …until I know they’re sane, they don’t know who I am… Lol

 

My twic was issued by the government and it doesn’t have my address on it.

 

Use your TWIC card. That’s what it’s for. If they refuse that then I would be making some phone calls.

The people that won't freeze their credit are not actually worried about their identity being stolen. What if I said I was worried sbout burglars in my neighborhood but went to bed with my front & back door wide open when I left home?

 

You would most likely have a house full of insects and high energy bills.

 

Had my identity stolen twice since the pandemic began. I’m not letting anyone copy my ID. Fire me, kick me off the property, I don’t care.

I drive for a recycling company. Most of what we haul is cardboard and paper. I have had to show my CDL to a couple customers, but they have yet to make a copy of it. It didn’t make much sense to me as what I haul isn’t exactly high value.
