Whats everyone's opinion on Monroe Magnums?
I have them on steer axle. 2022 Freightliner Cascadia.
So far not impressed at all!

    SACHS makes a good shock.
If they make one to fit your truck.

Yea Sachs is who makes Frieghts OEM shock.
Blair put me on the scent of a HD shock that's made by King Shocks. I'm waiting to hear back from their salesman.

Cascadias ride rough. They’re a good truck, they’re a money maker, I’d buy one again in a second, but they will ride rough, they will shake, and they will probably have a slight pull. I’ve drove numerous of them and they’re all the same. Quit wasting money on it and go make some money.

Oh she does well making me the coin but I have to get it riding better which I can cause I have driven them before where it wasn't basically stock. Full air ride which is what my brothers FL is, is like a night n day difference.
I have to enjoy my driving, I love driving the big cars I don't do this job for the money. Biggest reason my truck is spoiled the way she is.
There's a solution to the problem and I WILL find it.

They do? I have a 2020 and it rides like car. Better than the Volvo I had.

The Road King shocks (they went out of business) that I bought for both the 2001 T2000, and the 1995 379 - made a massive difference. After this thread popped up, I found that HD shocks in CA had similar, and states on their site - "We rebuild RK shocks".

Which is great. I never had a problem with mine leaking, but many others said they did, and there's threads on here stating they were a rip off.

They need to be compressed with a ratchet strap - I suspect guys were nicking the shaft or something trying to crowbar them on. They have mighty down pressure.

If @Iceman1643 pulls the trigger and drops the $$ on the HD version, I'd be interested to hear the results.

$1300 including fee for custom color.
For front 2 built to spec.
OPINIONS.....??.....Worth it? Would high quality shocks make that much of improvement to justify price?.....
