Technically your right but I did lock myself out of my KW once. I lock the door went to bed then got up and opened the door but didn't pull handle hard enough and lock only come half way up. Then got out and shut the door and the lock dropped back down and lock me out. Happened another time but window was down.
Should a driver pay for leaving their keys inside the truck?

When I had an FLD I had a guy ask to use my key to unlock his truck. Said he locked the keys in it. Something about him made me wary and I told him no. A little while later some other guy came out with his shower bag, got in the truck and left. Saw the first guy walking around later. This was at the Ontario, TA.

I just knock on the sleeper and have the lot lizard let me in.

Stuff happens, different truck, usually, and a really screwed up schedule, which no amount of trying to sleep away from home will fix.
I carry spares, have a key outside, ad nauseum, and still got locked out, but I borrowed a fish from that shop and got in much quicker than waiting. -

I have 3 keys. One for the ignition one on my personal key ring and another hidden on the outside of the truck. Been doing that for forty years.
Tug Toy, 4wayflashers and FlaSwampRat Thank this.
