No gps is perfect. Learn to work with what you have. The things aren't cheap.

I've got near 700000 miles on my RM and plan to get a million out of it.

I prefer Rand over Garmin just because of the POI/points of interest. Like route planning for where you want to stop...

I want to stop someplace that has a laundry facility, or a FedEx/UPS drop box so I can mail out the check I received from that COD delivery. Maybe I don't want a dirt parking lot but I do want a stop with a shower. Garmin was lacking in that department last time I used it. Gamin was more polished and Rand seemed clunky.

I grew to love Rand TND routing maps.
But I don't think a TND will last much more than 2 years before touch issues.
Always check Google Maps, and get phone numbers.

    truckpc Thanks this.

    Lol.
    Agreed, 13".
Black & white with foil wrapped rabbit ears for the best reception. If you can, have your kid stand next to it and hold it steady.

Maine has so few representatives on TTR..... sometimes I'm ashamed to be part of them.
