If it's a weed burner iv heard you can stuff a rolled up flatbed strap in it and thatll shut the engine off . Needs to be Jammed as far In that pipe as possible

Well back in the 'old days", the average truck stop (we had many to choose from in almost any area) wasn't packed like sardines they are today.
There were many ratty trucks back then, more than now. But it just wasn't a problem to get away from them.
