You are the only one that can decide what you want. Selling either one of them right now will bring good profits just depends what you want

my uncle bought his first 1973 brockway In 1975 for just under $6000, that was a ridiculous amount of money then, bubble will pop, but everything will settle around inflation, if you need the truck long term or are hauling your own product it’s one thing, it’s all the 6 month exp mega company rejects that are going to crash and burn eventually

If China/Russia flex and we go to a real trade war. A 300K truck would be a steal! Lots of Chinese goods ( truck parts) will no longer be available to the US market.

That depends on your foot. I have a 99 379 with a 6nz. I have about 700hp at the crank. In the Midwest I avg 7mpg. Gotten as much as 7.4. My buddy with a new 389 there is a pic of it in another thread, gets same as I do. He has a paccar engine turned up a little. Alot depends on how you drive and where you drive.

Where and how you drive is about 90% of fuel mileage unless you're having mechanical malfunctions like a leaky charge cooler.

Bean Jr. and shooter19802003 Thank this.

I agree, you should sell. You arent worthy of 389 or w9 to ask such a question. Sell to someone and buy a volvo

Ah man did you even read the full thread . I am thinking about selling the new one and rebuilding an old pre emission 379 6nz with the profits.
