You bought a piece of junk. Used didn't mean junk. When buying used you have to be smart about it. It's much better to spend five hundred to find out you don't want that truck, than be cheap, save the five hundred and shell out twenty five grand fixing what the five hundred would of told you was wrong with it.
    3400/month for 24 months is 81600.
What kind of truck did you buy? For that kind of money, I could buy two older trucks, rebuild the engines, transmissions, rear ends, New turbo and injectors and have enough left to refresh the interior, buy
    new seats, etc etc

    that's good.
I would buy new glider with pre-emission motor. and remember if you want to make money you will need to stay far from state of Colorado ))). the good thing is any time if you need to come back home you can find a load easy.)))

Do NOT buy or lease a new truck. Do NOT get an ISX for a powerplant. Do get a Pre emissions engine and an older truck that you check out thoroughly. Stay out of California if you can avoid it in order to avoid any CARB complications with your older truck. Drive SLOWLY (55-60)and maximize your fuel consumption as it is your biggest expense. KNOW YOUR NUMBERS !! know exactly what your maintenance costs are, your fuel costs are , every aspect of your business has a cost affixed to it and MUST be accounted for on paper... not whimsically.... or you will FAIL.

research "the business of trucking" Kevin Rutherford. Great information

First , was not talking to you.
Second, the op has been told to read two popular threads about starting with old trucks... He will find the total bill has increased dramatically since purchase.
Third, never said old trucks were bad...but they can be expensive.
Personally I've made more money and had less downtime with the so called expensive new truck that seems to frighten some O/O.
It sounds like you do well with old trucks, if so, I'm happy for you, but it doesn't always work out for everyone.
