If you press the clutch pedal and the gear can be engaged? Or coupling from one, does the pedal and instead provides the right foot on the brake?

Your question does not make any sense in English. I assume your are German since you speak German in the movie. You need to figure out in which position the shifter comes to rest when in neutral when in the lower gears and the same when you push past the detent to go to the higher gears. That will let you know in which direction you should push the shifter when going for the next gear. Also since this might be a "Fahrschulenlastwagen" the shifter might have been abused more than normal and it can get a bit tricky.

I think to remember the rest points being between 3 and 4 and than 5 and 6 in the upper gears from the Mercedes, ZF and MAN trucks I drove back in the 90s.

In the US and Canada most transmissions are direct shift and are not fully synchronized.

    I hope this helps.

    I'll have a go at a comment.

Downshifting to a stop, floating (no clutch) I brake with my left foot and control the throttle with right foot to match engine RPM to road speed and gear. At the last moment I use the clutch for full stop.

Isn't that uncomfortable with the shifter so far back?

Also what is the air noise on every shift? I guess it is air assisted?
