"dude", i can post at/on any thread.....you posted, i responded. you didn't like the advice given by some of us, i responded. you sent me a PM, i responded.....

you seem to want sugar-coated answers and you seem to only want to hear what YOU WANT to hear....and trucking just ain't like that. there will ALWAYS BE MORE BS in trucking than any other industry.

i wish you well......and i hope you get to hear all the answers YOU WANT TO HEAR.....in fact.....here is another helpful link for you...

Reading these posts reminded me of something I was once told by Trainer.

" Trucking companies are like ######, they tell you what you want to hear, when you need to hear it, and then they #### the #### out of you.

Hey Doc. You are complaining that forum members won't answer your questions, but the first time someone gets a little straightforward and tells you something you don't want want to hear, you start with the belligerence!
If I may exhibit a "Rerun lovefest" :smt055 for a moment, I have received very good, straightforward, no BS advice and or comments from Rerun. He takes his time to answer questions without the sugarcoating. Injun, Texas Nana, Redd, Southernpride and too many others to state by name (you know who you are) have done so too. You do get some like K***** who give nothing but sarcastic BS responses. You will find out who those are soon enough. I am thankful to the people on this board, because they have provided me with useful tips and information that would have taken me years to find out on my own, not to mention saving me from daily bouts of aggravation and stress if I started OTR "cold" without the knowledge I have now. Be respectful to those who show you respect.

Rerun8963 and just lil me Thank this.

Doc, again I'm going to be VERY blunt here. You just told one of the most informative people to get off your thread. Rerun is one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, and yes blunt people on the Trucker's Report.

Look, one of the best pieces of advice I've been given was fron notarps who taught me that I needed to toughen up and lighten up. You're not always going to like the answer, the way the answer is given or the poster. But Doc, when you ask for help don't kick the guy helping. You posted in frustration. Well Rerun was trying to explain to you why we all get frustrated trying to help newbies.

And Doc.........Rerun had a really good point: if you say the forum has no search button......then obviously you haven't been using it. It's there. Right up at the top of this page between "new posts" and "quick links" sits the "search" button. I usually use advanced search and make sure your word is 5 or more letters long.

    Rerun8963 Thanks this.

Why bother 80% have no idea about trucking or why they want to get into it , as a result they ask for help and if the replies do not fit the need FOR WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR they get upset.
Past week on here I read some pretty DUMB things from new drivers ( not trainees )

    1) Did not realize REEFERS made noise so I quit as I could not sleep.

    2) Had it not been for the previous driver telling me I would have not noticed the LARGE LAKE of coolant under the TRUCK.

    3) It has 1 of those INVERTOR thingys :) not sure what motor it has.

    4) I did not expect a NEW TRUCK but this 1 has 200,000 miles on it hope they trade it soon.

But flatbed, there's others that begin not knowing what to ask and with help they learn, grow and become new drivers. We're still new, still have almost everything to learn but some day we too will have 33 years of experience. Well not me because then I'd be 86 and I don't want to be driving then!

Thanks for the comment on my 33 YEARS sort of typical for this site

Besides had you read my POST for what it was worth 100% - 80% = 20% that as you STATED " begin not knowing what to ask and with help they learn, grow and become new drivers "
