I've noticed one of brake slack adjusters backs out on its own over some time. I'll readjust it and it works as supposed to and then few days later it'll be backed out to where shoes barely contact drum and it doesn't even get hit to touch.
Everything is new, shoes, drum, slack adjuster as well as brake chambers.
