Sleep apnea - watching me sleep

How much experience do you have?
You can call any company and ask about having to get another physical.
Here's a few that don't require another physical:
Freymiller - @Ssand Man works there.
Magnum Ltd.
Navajo Express
J&R Schugel
Here's some; I'm not sure about the physical:
Eagle KMC Transportation - terminal in Phoenix.
Titan Transfer - hires in Phoenix

MY machine have only a sd in so i must sent it in.
BUt they dont ask.
THe mechine works fine without, so no recording..

 

Companies like that are few and far between.So if you wanna remain in this industry you'll always be put on a short leash for one reason or another.

 

I don't blame you but that's how this industry is.So I would suggest not driving any longer or face the next company monitoring you as well.If this machine is a requirement how they spose to know if you're using it if they don't monitor you?

 

It's to check if you stop breathing for a few seconds, some people do which in turn puts you at risk for heart failure.Stop breathing during sleep that is. It's not to check if you are running legal.

 

Does anyone know who in the Company reviews it? Is it Medical Staff, or someone who has no clue what they are looking at, just making sure you used it for x number of hours?
When I went for my test a few years back, my Dr told me if I needed a CPAP he would have it send me the usage so he could monitor it. I asked him last week if I were to go to a company that monitors it, how does he get access? He said he wouldn't, unless the Company had a way to give him access. He said he has 3 patients now using CPAP's and the Trucking Companies will not let him access the data. He has to have the patient remove the memory card, and email him the results every month. He said if the company is mandating they monitor it, it should be an MD looking through it, not someone who has no clue what the data means.
