I shed a tear for the Marten Veterans.... poor guy been here over 20 years. Said this company has gone down the crapper... he's about to retire, so good on him for sticking through the rough times.
I'm very tired of this industry. I'm tired of being away from home for #### money. The #### stress and the #### lying DMs that pretend to care about us.
I thought the grass would be greener on the other side. I flipped it over and got dirt. -
Take it right to the top and make Mr Marten stand by his words. Here they are, straight from the company website.
tna Thanks this. -
That is EXACTLY what every trucking company has painted on the walls in every terminal in America. -
While there are some companies that truly operate by those beliefs and principles, sadly, many others do not, and to them they are nothing more than cheap lip service.tna Thanks this. -
Just like marten.. Walmart went to hell when Sam Walton died.

Smaggs you sure do have some legitimate complaints. That truck you described with disgustingly accurate detail was nothing short of a Bio-Hazard. Can you believe that people actually live like this? The problem is that Marten works with what they got and they don't exactly have the creme of the crop in drivers. You need a job with a small company plain and simple. Actually everyone does.
First you need to figure out the amount of miles you need per week to make showing up for work worth your time. THEN you have to realize that Marten makes out like a bandit with you running HALF of those miles. Even less and they still make money. The bigger the company the more this formula is amplified. -
