I never had any clearance issues in my R model. My bunk was a piece of plywood, a foam egg crate across 2 seats and a pillow. Sitting up had plenty of room. Man am I old.

Rumor has it that my company will be buying the new Mack Pioneer. Hope they opt for the larger sleeper.

I tried to watch that this morning. It literally put me to sleep.

Took until after 11 today to get my load. Which now makes it impossible to get this load delivered by the 17:00 cutoff. Doesn't matter to me if Walmart considers this a service failure, I told dispatch about not making it multiple times, and nobody said they'd contact them and let them know. Plus, it helped to tighten up my next load, I am not sure I can get the load picked up and run enough off of it to make it to the IN delivery in time. Guess I could t-call it in Indy and let a local deliver it if they need to reschedule.

Weekend dispatch is effing worthless. Rejected 2 preplans yesterday that were garbage, finally get one that, while not great, works with the hours I have. Show up to the shipper and get told it was supposed to be ready yesterday but they didn't have any empties, so load needs to be rescheduled. Supposedly sent an email. Sent a message in, and been sitting on hold. They have another load ready, but idk anything about it

Company has asked me to start training. I cook with a goerge foreman currently. Looking for a good quality microwave/airfryer combo that wont break the bank and will work in the truck. Currently not sure what size inverter will be in the truck. What do yall recommend?

It took almost 2 hours for them to reply to my 1st message this morning. I can see a little delay because they're understaffed, but 2 hours.

And it is weird that all these places don't have empties, but getting pre-planned on loads, for the most part, has been at the last minute right before they send anything.

Is Creaffer going to start hiring right out of schools again? Just asking because I plan on reacquiring my CDL in the near future but haven't decided where to do my 2nd 1st year. I've been off the road long enough that I'll be considered a rookie again.

    Friend and Lonesome Thank this.
