    Did his truck hit yours?

if it did, I hate to be that guy but I bet safety lists this as a preventable accident. There's no traffic around in that dash cam footage and they'll say you should've been paying attention to him as he was beside you.

However, if you managed to avoid getting hit by him, good saving maneuver.

no they did not make contact but the fact of the matter is that they ran me off the road and they’re getting reported tomorrow morning. I have zero tolerance for that. They put mirrors on trucks for a reason and on top of it they did it in the rain

I may be getting hit by the train. They sent 2 back to back preplans to me today. 1st one picked up in MA, 18 hours after my PTA, loaded miles were all of 45, but didn't deliver until 24 hours later. Then the follow up preplan picked up 117 miles away (north of Boston), 13 hours later. So I said no to both. When they told me that was all they had to offer, my reply was

    giphy-1.gif

I told them that there should be no reason for me not hitting 3000 miles this week after having 1700 by Monday. And I said that if that's how they're gonna play, then I will gladly move to one of the other Acklie companies and Shaffer can replace me with a brain damaged orangutan, because based on how they run things, he'll fit right in. And if the other Acklie companies aren't doing any better, then I will start putting in apps and will return my truck to Deland. I have had all I can stand from the planners here, they're useless.

And it isn't the Princess doing this, I got a message from the Op's manager saying she has gone back to her weekend shift, and I am now assigned to a new dispatcher, who has worked in many different areas in Corporate, and was the soul POC for our Hershey account. Not sure how to judge that, don't know if he's been moving up the ladder because he's that good, or if he hasn't found the position that suits him and keeps moving.

I try to make sure I’m clear by about two truck lengths before I come back over, particularly thanks be to the proliferation of collision mitigation garbage.

Stick it to this fool, and God willing your safety idiots won’t hold you responsible for it.

Actually my company won’t do anything to me about it. I had something similar a couple years ago in Colorado that was caught on my other dash camera and the company really appreciated the video and we filed the police report with the Colorado state patrol on that one and sent the trooper the video the trooper went after the driver for reckless driving And other charges
Depending on the reaction I get from Swift if they act like they don’t care which I’m hoping they don’t give a ####, but if they don’t, the video is going on social media and gonna go viral

Instead of hitting the shoulder why didn't you just slow down so they could pass. I drive in the north east 5 days a week. This happens at least a couple times a night, I just slow down and let the idiot go by. I don't however maintain my speed and hope they don't hit me. Head shake.

Because I was only doing 56 miles an hour look at the bottom of the pic. I was still accelerating coming out of a rest area. They were already doing full speed, and whatever their truck is governed at
