Finally, someone who gets it, and speaks up. I don't mind others posting their opinions or experiences from other companies, as long as it's done respectfully. Heck, maybe someone stumbles onto one of my threads and sees some useful info from one and it helps them choose a better company.

Friend, motocross25, D.Tibbitt and 6 others Thank this.

Loading went better than the last time (the last time I got there later in the pickup window, so I was in a longer line). Will make it to the Mechanicsburg yard around 14:00. The delivery is on the other side of Mechanicsburg, but you have to go 18 miles because the state route in between has a whole bunch of residential and they outlawed trucks. The delivery customer is usually quite quick about unloading, so even if the shop can't get to my truck today, I should be empty and back to the yard with enough time to get it done tomorrow.

Right. It’s his thread. I assume he’s registered it? But in any case, it’s out on a public forum which is open for comments. See that’s the thing! If you say something publicly you can expect others to not agree. And they have just as much right to comment as you do to complain.

So, thanks but no thanks. I will stay here and comment as I see fit.

And since I’m commenting. I don’t offer him advice. Frankly it’s useless. But I will call a spade a spade. If he does have 40 years experience then that’s sad.

    kwswan and IH9300SBA Thank this.

I figure SSB is gonna do what is best for him and his family. Especially his wife, I only offered advice of Holland because MY OPINION they are the best long haul OTR company out here.

I would rather he does what’s best for him
And his than sit here and preach how he’s making a mistake staying with Shaffer.

@supersnackbar if I came across as preachy or anything derogatory, i apologize for that. Please take the apology, if I offended you at all.
