I’m not trying to pick a fight. I had it, and it put my dick in the dirt. Actually had it 4 times now. The last time was a few weeks ago. It wasn’t much. But the first one was a mfer. Even left me with some long term side effects.
But, there were lots of people who used it to enrich themselves. And I wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire.

The last 2 phones I have had were equipped with a Google digital assistant that can answer unknown numbers for you, then it shows the conversation on the screen. It politely asks the caller who they are and the reason they're calling and if they don't reply right, it politely tells them that I don't take that kind of call and hangs up. I wish I could tell it what I want it to say instead of a pre-scripted message, but I can't. But the surprise and confusion from people is sometimes hilarious.kemosabi49, navypoppop, Lonesome and 2 others Thank this. -

The issue with these drivers not wanting to run 500 miles a day is not just a singular company problem but it’s an industry wide problem and frankly a society problem with so many people not wanting to work…
For example, a few weeks ago, I delivered to restaurant Depot in Houston And Marten transport had the dedicated, and those drivers worked Monday through Friday.
They did round-trip loads from the Houston DC to South Texas and back OKC and back Tulsa and back in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and back, and the driver admitted that he and many others on that account would not run more than 1200 miles a week because they did not wanna run more than what the guaranteed minimum pay that Marten paid and therefore they were losing a contract… basically that account you could easily do 2500 miles a week and be off every single weekend for 48 hours
Basically working three days a week is all these guys wanted to work… This problem is getting worse by the week in my opinion and like I said it’s not just this industry. It’s a society wide problemTrucker61016, hope not dumb twucker, cdavis188 and 1 other person Thank this. -

The next day was Monday. I woke up to get ready for work and felt like I got ran over by a truck. I said “#### I feel like ####”, but it was too late to call out. That, plus the snowstorm that hit that day, made for a mighty rough one to drag my ### through.
Once I learned the symptomology on covid, I figured out that’s what it was. It lasted about 10 days, fortunately getting better with each day.
The only long term thing was the chest congestion that stuck around for about 2 months.DonRobbie, kemosabi49, Lonesome and 4 others Thank this.
