I have to laugh at the idle messages like we got today. "Charge your phone while driving so you can unplug it when you park"...how big are some driver's phones that it draws so much power that it causes the truck to start to recharge it's 4 big batteries. How stupid are these people, or how stupid do they think we are to believe such bull crap.

I think I have been given the approval of t-calling 3 or 4 loads since I came back in March, and I have asked a whole lot more and been denied.

This customer is a #### show. 4.5 hours after my appointment before they backed me into a dock to load. Then they put 44300 and loaded it almost to the doors. When I slid the axles to the 40' Cali line, I only have about an inch or so between the sidewalls of my trailer tandems...and I have had enough for the day. I told dispatch about it, and that I will scale it in the morning. Right now, between all the temperature mismatches, dispatcher switches, planner b.s. and customers like this, I am getting really tired of pulling a reefer. If it takes them anywhere near the amount of time to reload as it did to load, I won't make it to Ontario by Sunday afternoon....and I don't give a flying fornication.

Some people think just because they as individuals have great experience at a company, that everyone else should be able to have that same great experience as well.

But it doesn't work that way, ESPECIALLY at a mega like Crete. The bad experiences at Crete/Shaffer aren't one offs, you'll see people on social media with similar complaints seen on this thread. You're not alone, don't let anybody else tell you otherwise.

I know the one old guy with his wife on YouTube who makes Crete videos makes bank. He's pulling in 5 figures from referrals alone, if I remember right about $15,000 per year in referral money alone AND he's got a channel donation link with some ad stuff going as well. He's up to over 40,000 subscribers, which is pretty good. I don't say this to be insulting towards them, they seem like good people but you just know Crete looks after those two, no way they let their free advertising channel get the bad runs and have them sitting lol.

Was supposed to be a drop and hook pickup, still had about 8hrs, then no appt for delivery, but trailer wasnt loaded at the pickup, so lost a day to that, waited about 6hrs ended up bobtailing out and going back in the morning. Then delivery ended up fcfs today 0700-1200. Got close to the customer last night headed in first thing, apparently not quick enough, 3 trucks ahead of me, 1 dock. Was there 7hrs ish. Now my plans for my next load are all borked up. I can still do it, but had to stop farther from the customer than I wanted.
