Hey Snackbar, when you see posts like this from the super truckers:

Just ignore those types of haters. So because one person is getting a consistently great experience at Crete because they were somehow able to go above their DM's head and get a good conversation with the president or some higher up in management, not to mention always threatening to be a Karen to their dispatchers, that means that somehow everything that goes wrong with you (Snackbar) is YOUR fault?

I call BS on that. It's kind of weird how some people, whether working for Crete themselves or from other companies, feel the need to either defend Crete every time someone makes a criticism of the company, or feel the need to tell you how great their other company that they work for is every time things start going wrong for you. Some of them are, frankly, obsessive about it....

For whatever reason, Snackbar certainly draws in the "White Knights" to his threads.

I say forget the haters Snackbar. There's a reason why YOUR threads always get the most engagement consistently and long term on this forum in the Favorite Companies section, because you tell it like it is. It seems most people making these threads or YouTube videos fall into two categories:

One, they praise their company with such passion that they actively feel the need to put down any criticism of their company, even if said criticism isn't even on their thread or just a random comment on a video.

Or two, they constantly put down their company and have nothing good to say about them.

You fall into that basically non existent third category of telling it like it is 100% of the time. When things go good, you give just praises. When things go bad, you don't sugar coat anything and you're always open to outside critical opinions as well.

In short, Snackbar keeps it real and that's why his threads are always the most popular no matter what company he goes to. He's definitely one of the GOATS of this forum.

I appreciate it, I say, let 'em have their fun, it gives their life meaning. If a member comes on here and goes too far, I tolerate it for a while, then wave the forum's magic wand and -poof- they disappear from my view. I wouldn't say he's a true hater, just younger and more tolerant to the company bullcrap than I. Over the years, I have lost some of my humor when it comes to dealing with it and it has been replaced with grumpiness. And the older I get, the more grumpy I get.

They finally got my load done around 10 or so, plus they moved the delivery deadline until 11 tomorrow instead of 6. Plus, I requested a layover day's pay which has already been approved. Plus I have a preplan. After I drop, they have me going to Greeley to pick up. Originally the load wasn't supposed to be ready until after midnight tomorrow night, but about an hour after I accepted it, another message came in saying that the load had already been loaded and will be waiting for me after I drop this load. It's going up by Milwaukee for Tuesday, just under 1200 miles with the deadhead (and I don't have to waste time washing it out).

Something is going amiss with my truck. Randomly, if I stop for say, fuel, when I pull up to top off the reefer, both sides of my air pressure system drops down to the warning point. The problem is, I have tinitus so bad, I can't hear an air leak unless it's real bad, so I am not hearing anything obvious leaking, and it has done it with a couple different trailers, so it might be the truck (or my trailer air line). That, and my opti-idle is getting wonky. It randomly turns on the heat both front and back when it starts, and I am not talking just the warm air that comes out before the cold air, I am talking keep you warm when it's snowing and blowing. I end up shutting the truck off and restarting it, then putting my hand over the sensor until it starts. Man I wish they would change their mind about putting APU's on these trucks.

Mine starts blowing warm in the front
Randomly unless I move the temp gauge then it cools again... something to do with the ac doors I think not closing off the warm side....so it allows the hot air....

This Peoplenet is tied to whatever controls the reefer? You can’t just set it to the right temperature and get on with business?

The Peoplenet and the reefer are connected to the company computer and if the reefer setting doesn't match the info on the load in the computer and the info on the load call on the Peoplenet that was sent in, then it rejects it until someone in the office verifies that the load call was correct, then changes the load info in the computer. Since they aren't hiring the most skilled drivers nowadays, they have to verify everything before making changes to the load info.

Same where I’m at pretty much. They give us a temp in load info, but rule is always follow bol. Just have to let dispatch know and send pic of bol showing temp. And they’ll let customer know. Maybe hang out for 10 mins and see what they say.
