It still amazes me how drivers totally ignore signage at customer's check in locations. Fred Meyer/Kroger here in Clackamas has signs everywhere at the gate, Hi viz vest and closed toe shoes must be worn before you will be checked in. The guy in front of me, had neither. They told him that he had to put on both before he would be signed in. He went and got his vest out of the truck, and came back (still wearing his Ugs). Then, when they told him that he still had to change to closed toed shoes, he got grumpy. He went back in his truck to find a pair of tennis shoes... meanwhile, I am standing there waiting because they started his check in before verifying he had on his proper attire. When I checked in, I joked that I was ready because I was a grownup and knew how to dress like I was at a job.
