Speaking of drop & hooks, I have been under this trailer 2 weeks on Saturday, and I live load and unload my next preplan, and it delivers Tuesday. So, unless I head to the Costco warehouse after I unload, I may be under this trailer for a 3rd week.

Speaking of Crete and Shaffer...has anyone heard about another pay increase this year??? Probably in time for the new year
-
In practice, it depends on the loads. If a driver runs 600 mile days, running 6 days an taking a restart he will end up driving 15000 miles in 30 days. He can run recaps and average 500 mile days to hit the same miles. If the load appointment times are such that the driver is going to be running less than 550 miles per day, running recaps is probably going to net them more in the long run.
Change the freight patterns or the pay structure, and my opinion on which is better will change.brian991219 and Friend Thank this. -
I am is shock (and awe). Sterling Walmart DC, 1 hr and 5 min from check in at the guard shack to pulling out the gate empty. Next stop, the lottery counter at the nearest truck stop.

Csr strikes again… plan me on a load on in Blakely Georgia and then after dispatch CSR decides to change up the pick up point to Colquitt Georgia 20 miles away, but doesn’t say anything to anybody…

Ok everyone, brace yourself, sit down if you have to...an update is about to appear....nothing bad happened today, nothing to BMW about... Unload went much faster than expected. Loading at the shipper went better than the majority of the reviews claim. The only thing is my pu appointment was close to my 14, and it pushed me over my 14, but the TA in Morris was 1 mile away, and we're not allowed to park at the customer overnight, so I noted the 'unexpected" delay and no overnight parking on my log and logged a short PC to the closest parking. Not to mention this is only a 20k lb load, so I will barely know it's there all the way to Cali. Overall, I think I may have used up some good juju on this load, hope I won't have to pay for it later.
