so you think that just because of a size of a customer there’s no communication issues from people at the customer either?

Yeah, you're right (like always), a multi-billion dollar corporation like Unilever that has thousands of facilities across the nation shipping tens of thousands of loads per day won't bother keeping their contact carriers informed about freight stopages when their facilities will be closed.

How do you think our Presidents find out about the plant closures they announce on the weekly updates, Clairvoyance? They have a crystal ball? Time machine? Jesus, I swear, if I said poop stinks, you would argue about it claiming you once had yours come out smelling like rose peddles and potpourri.

Communication issues happen with big companies small companies. It happens unfortunately… Good freaking grief.. you need to take a deep breath and relax because a lot of times you turn around and flip out like this and think the world is coming to an end because issues pop up from time to time… The world ain’t perfect. I know that’s hard to understand it seems but #### take a chill pill.

Sometimes the info makes it to all the correct people and it’s not passed on. When I was leased to FCC I got my usual load out of the house. I get to Aurora and the driveway has barricades across it. Send a message and the reply I get was “oh yeah, I think I saw something about that” followed a few minutes later by “they won’t be open until 6am tomorrow”.

I get pissed off when I have to waste 3 hours running around for nothing. Excuse me for venting. I am sure if it happened to you, you would be burning Kutter's phone line down complaining to him. I expect more organization from a company this size with the tracking technology they have available.

Yes it sucks. No one likes to deal with this crap but it happens on occasion… And technology is supposed to make things better but like anything else technology can go wacky and screw up at times…

I mean, knowing something is shutdown doesn't mean knowing no ones in the office or that the guards cant release empties. Like sure, it'd be nice if they let us know that, but they probably just send an email to csr saying "plant shutdown next week, no loads"

And if it only happened occasionally, it would only be annoying. But in the last 2 week it has happened often enough that my month has gone from a potential 14k month down to just over 12k if I am lucky. So, considering how much of a drop that is in the monthly pay, and how much it'll cost me on the bonus on top of that, that's basically almost a weeks pay. If it hadn't been for this weeks insurance refund, I would have only put $1000 in the bank (net)..even you would be pissed losing that much because of screwups.
