They had a message a month or two ago about it(and I think they mentioned it on the weekly propaganda update), 1st time I've seen it though. I guess drivers haven't been putting seal numbers in on the load calls for Walmart loads, so now they are wanting pictures to make it easier than actually typing it in. (I'm expecting the artificial hand attachment for the Peoplenet will be added sometime in 2026. That way we have to hold it's hand while it explains to us how to do our job, and then we'll all have to double enter info just to verify we did it right the 1st time)

You HAVE to use the tablet. Only fun thing is, there's no tablet internet at t h e rear of the trailer. If you snap the Pic of the seal, you have to walk back toward the cab. If the AI doesn't read the seal right, you have to walk back to the doors, retake the Pic, walk back to the front. Rinse repeat until the system can read and accepts the seal number. Took me 4 tries to get the system to read the seal. I feel like a tennis ball...lol backnfortnbacknforthnbacknforth

Gotta love being punished because of stuff others have done. It's so hard to type out a seal that's on the paperwork in front of you

I wonder how long before we have to do what one YouTube trucker called "the whip around"...where we'll have to take pictures of various points around the truck and trailer when doing a PTI

Nope. Waiting on an opening out of either GA or NC.

I think they have a Portage Wisconsin location, also. Equipment looks top notch.

They base you out of the plant you live closest to. When I checked in with them a while back, they said GA would be my base location, possibly NC. But neither had any openings.

And yes, they have O/O spec'd equipment. 70 mph, satellite dish, tv and satellite radio, apu, microwave. Truck wash twice a month (and they pay you $30 per wash), wash out after every chicken load (also pays the driver $30). An extra $0.10/mi into AND out of the Northeast (regardless of the starting point. Come out of SoCal to Maine, and all miles are paid the extra per mile.) And health insurance is much much cheaper.
