After having my load switched, then being told to t-call in Marietta, I still haven't seen a preplan, and like the weekend before I went home, the new guy just left. If I get hung out to dry again by this guy, and end up going from 1100 miles in 3.5 days to 625 in 3.5 days, I WILL be on the phone to Lincoln 1st thing Monday (possibly after bobtailing home) insisting that I am transferred to a competent dispatcher or to Crete. Right now, comparing him to the Princess, the Princess is head and shoulders better, even with her part time schedule.

Now thinking about it. One of the reasons why I left Shaffer. Because after being there for I think 3 months or so. They switched my dispatcher to someone else. Which they wasn't as good as my first one. Because at the time anyone new to the company was given a "beginner" or whatever dispatcher

I’d hate to lose my current router. At least his runs are efficient and the small truck deliveries typically wind up on the small trucks.

Whoever takes his place when he’s off just throws the limited access crap everywhere. Nobody should be trying to deliver to an apartment complex in a 48’ trailer.

The new Trucks not in yet, but Position is still going to be available. I dont know when yet. I will keep checking on it. You need to stay in contact with them.

Just an update, I didn't have to spend the weekend at sinkhole central (Marietta). I managed to stop last night south of Perry, GA. Got up and had 156 miles to the yard. Enroute, I get a preplan. Cleveland, TN (M&M Mars, preloaded and ready) going to Irving, TX (actually, Dallas). But, the ignorant idiots at the GaDOT decided that Saturday morning would be a great time to not only shut down the 285 to 75n ramp, but close 3 lanes of 285 leading up to the ramp (including the US 41 exit.) Then, just for spits and giggles, they shut down 3 of the 5 lanes of NB 75, right at the exit where you jump off to head to the terminal. It added an 1.75 hours to my trip. Finally got to the yard, dropped the load, actually found several empties (the one I chose had just been serviced this morning) then headed to the candy plant.

September ended up being much worse than I thought. I had 7502 mi by the 15th, and this is all I ended up getting credit for. Screenshot_20251011-170906.png

I hope the opportunity to move to Brakebush becomes available soon...I am not sure how much more of this company I can take.

And just now, with the outside temp at 81°, the opti-idle interior comfort decided to start and turn on the heater. I hate these mother ####ing pieces of Freightliner garbage.

Who’s the brainiac who thought that was a good way for that system to operate?

It will do it occasionally. It has issues, but it never does it around a shop. I miss having an APU

What I find interesting. Some megas don't get a apu because of drivers not taking care of it. So they see it's cheaper not to have one. Meanwhile Prime has one on every truck
