They were everywhere in Curacao… but they make soup out of them. No danger of falling out of the trees there IMG_0645.jpeg

Remember years ago...when somebody had new trucks ordered..with non air ride solid passenger seats..to save some money...that didn't last too long...

Most of the trucks I drove in my early years had the non-air ride monkey seat, and it gave the truck a little extra under seat storage. For solo drivers, I don't see why an air ride seat over there is all that necessary. My passenger seat stays deflated 100% of the time. My portable fridge doesn't need air ride.

Since I chose to go down thru ID, UT and across WY I had to get a new fuel solution. When I got it, none of the stops had any reefer fuel amounts(and 3 of the 5 are partial fill stops)....so, if I wanted to be an a-hole, I could just let the reefer run out of fuel and tell management that the magic command box didn't tell me to put fuel in the reefer, so being an obedient trained monkey company driver, I did what I was told...

Most of the Creffer drivers...that didn't like the non air ride passenger seat...were team driver trucks

Tyson solo trucks the passenger seat isnt air ride. The training trucks and team trucks have the passenger air ride seat. I wouldnt train if it had a rigid passenger seat

The flatbed company I drove for had stationary passenger seats. That little bit of storage was nice for things you didn’t want bouncing around or getting buried in the side box.

Friend, Rugerfan and Trucker61016 Thank this.

The first Freightliner daycab I had from Penske had a bench type passenger sear, with lot's of storage underneath. That one went back a few years later, the next one had the same seat setup, but it had the batteries mounted under the seat. I was not happy.....
