It was the weather that had me more concerned, plus it's got a lot more hills to deal with pulling this much moocow meat in a Briggs and Stratton powered Junkliner.Friend, Knucklehead, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this.

My new strategy of expecting things to get screwed up then being surprised when they don't is working. I expected this weeks check to be a total dud since I only had 850 miles because I didn't get unloaded until way after the payroll cutoff. To my surprise, I got $330 in detention paid this week from that load. Not sure if that is just from the shipping snafu or delays from both the shipper and the fuster cluck consignee. Either way, it was more than I was expecting and much earlier than expected as well.
Friend, Knucklehead, hotrod1653 and 4 others Thank this. -
Keeping expectations low works. This way anything good that happens brightens the day. LolFriend, MACK E-6, Knucklehead and 5 others Thank this.

One thing I’ve learned in life is I don’t worry about things. I don’t have any direct control over when things happen.

They must be hard up for Tyson's money.
My empty call
And Lincoln prompting me for paperwork
I hadn't even gotten out the security gate before they were bugging me for paperwork. 5 friggin minutes. I always turn in my paperwork at my next shipper, washout or at least before I eat dinner after I shut down for the day.Last edited: Dec 4, 2025 at 1:42 PM
