I was talking about @cdavis188 saying he’s burnt out after 4.5 years and was going to quit driving.

Not so hefty - park at the yard and grab a cheap flight to the house. If getting "home home " costs at least 750 miles, he's money ahead.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Don’t feel bad Supersnackbar. I got a load this past weekend that went from Lancaster TX to Temple TX then home. The fuel solution was for me to fuel in Atoka OK. Go figure.

I am on a load out of Austell, GA going to Battleboro, NC(Rocky Mount) The 1st solution/route it gave me was I-20 to Florence SC then up 95, fueling just over the SC line, which was the way I was already planning on going. Once I picked up my loaded trailer in Austell (which had almost the same amout of fuel as the one I was dropping), it changed it's mind and wanted me to run 85 up to 40 and across to 95 and fuel in NC. While I was waiting for my scale to be processed at the Love's east of Atlanta by Madison (on I-20), I requested a new solution, then it changed it back to the 1st location, but subtracted a few gallons of reefer fuel. Didn't matter, it wanted 19 gallons of reefer fuel, but I could only fit in 8.

To illustrate how ridiculous things have gotten at Creaffer Nanny Trucking. I was sitting in the lobby at Marietta yesterday waiting for them to produce my new ID card for the door unlock/gate system. I overheard one of the cubicle dwellers calling drivers. 1st one was "why aren't you up and rolling, you need to get moving....call me back". This was at 16:30. Another one was him calling a driver at home, and he kept reminding him multiple times that he was at the house (as if the driver didn't know where they were). Really? Are they hiring drivers that are that forgetful that they don't know where they are? Thankfully I don't have someone trying that crap with me because I would invent offensive 4 letter words so I didn't run out going off on someone who feels the need to call me in the middle of the afternoon like that.
