Ozark sent us the Indiana messages often because that’s where the bulk of the speeding tickets came from.

Fun fact. The peanut shells are put into the tall super sacks and used up here in PA/OH/WV in oil/gas drilling. I almost took a job picking them up in GA and transporting back.

They also use ground up shells in those tall super sacks as a base for Miracle Grow. I pulled a load of it from GA to TX when I worked for Poly.

More proof that Lincoln Op's management is nuts. I got a preplan, and a message 'this is a high priority load, you must be at shipper early enough to get in a full break by the time the load is preloaded at 20:00 tomorrow'... My delivery appointment for my current load to Mechanicsburg is 10 am, my PTA is set for noon tomorrow, and this shipper I am suppose to do my break at is 2.5-3 hrs away (depending on traffic)..I guess someone in Lincoln missed 'how to tell time' class in grade school, cause that isn't possible. But, I accepted it anyway, and will do it my way. The load is going to Gas City, and delivers between 1 and 11 am on Friday...700 miles in a day and a half...and I need to be ready Weds night? Please!!!!!

    Lincoln knows best.....

I guess you're supposed to be a drone, and just blindly follow instructions.

The least they could do is tell me where the time machine button is on this thing so I can. My appointments are exacty 10 hrs apart, so I guess they forgot that it takes time to unload and drive between locations.

Assmgr said they were over booked with at least 200 loads a day...and couldn't cover them...so load planers don't care if I have hours to do preplan or not.....Assmgr said just keep turning down preplans I can't do...and pay no attention to mgs from load planners

They don't listen...when I picked this load up, our load info didn't have a temp. When I got to the shipper, the load sheet I was handed said 50° in transit, raise to 65 just prior to del. I relayed that info to my A/M so my load call would go thru fine. Did load call, and hauled arse. Got to Carlisle to fuel, after fueling I changed the temp since it was the last place I would be able to stop prior to arrival. I get a msg from someone other than my A/M asking why the temp change...I told him why. I get to customer, open doors, slide tandems, back in and while I was inside (without my phone) my A/M was blowing up my phone wanting to know why I changed the temp, and wants a pic of the B/L with the instructions sent to his email. Told him he has to wait. Why? He asked...because they have them in the receiving office, so when I get them back, I get right on it...which will make me later getting to the 'urgent' load's shipper...and people wonder why I am so pissed off and irritable all the time.

Wow, so apparently the A/M didn't think it would make sense to read your reply to the previous message?

    Drugs are bad, mmmkay?

Groundhog Day - trucking style. Bust my keister to get to my 'urgent' load's shipper as early as possible, so I can get a break in and back rolling before having to drive thru one of Dante's rings of Hell, a.k.a. Philadelphia. Get here, drop trailer, and told to check back at 20:00 for my preloaded trailer and paperwork. Check in as instructed and...they haven't even started, or even put a trailer to a door. So, with 0 on my 14...they asked me to put my existing trailer in a door, and it now becomes a live load...and I'll finish my break afterwards. God I love temp control :biggrin_25512::biggrin_2557:
