Well, I ended up being dispatched on load to Four Oaks that might deliver Monday (no appointment set, but dated for Monday), but I am T-calling it in Lincoln, then picking up a load off the yard going to Plainfield IN for ???? No appointment set yet either. But, because I don't get the right loads anymore, I don't get to reset my hours much, so, I don't have the hours to get to Lincoln today. Will have to be in the morning.

You know, I remember when I was a Crete driver, the more you made per mile, the less miles you got. When I first came back, my miles were good. I was on track to hit around 130k miles at the pace I was going. But, the closer I get to the 109k goal that I have to run by my anniversary date (in October), the crappier my miles get. Yes, if I am still here in October, I will surpass 109k, but it's looking like my yearly miles will only be in the low-to-mid 120k's, not the 130's like I hoped. Once again I believe the company moto should be, The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Covid, election year etc. I doubt you results would of been any different regardless of who’s name is on the door. When you have to chase miles to make a living you will always have up and down years. Good for you for at least sticking with them for a year.

Saw some of the new KW's in Lincoln this a.m. Not sure I'd want one. Overall, I like the new look, but they're kinda low to the ground, especially the front bumper, right in front of the tires

And it looks like KW decided to include an extra tank bracket, that isn't needed for our short fuel tanks, instead of putting a different bracket, they just adapted it to brace the side skirt. Are KW's designed and built in the south? That's redneck style engineering (minus duct tape and zip ties)

Looks like more $&@# for the rookies to tear up. Keep the body shop busy.

This KW has been the most reliable truck...I've ever had at Crete ... no mechanical issues or breakdowns...since I got it 2 years ago

Built in the south designed in WA. They are trying to keep pace with Freightliner (Mercedes) and they gaps are being closed off to reduce drag.

Toatally agree in real world driving lots of damage from debris and curb contact. And I'm sure the digital dash would drive you nuts lol.

Actually, that customizable dash display is one part I'd love. We had extra digital gauges on the touch screen on the 579's at Magnum, and you could move them around how you like, or get rid of the ones you didn't need. I took a quick peek thru the side windows. It almost looks like they either got a bigger pull out fridge, or a normal door type fridge in the new ones. I don't think the one I was brierly assigned to had that big of one. They just need the big rotating table in the sleeper like Big G had...those were handy
