I can't see the need. I mean, how much can those stupid things save to be honest. An APU would make more sense in terms of fuel mileage savings. And the b.s. excuse I got from management about APU's adding too much weight doesn't fly with me. Plenty of temp control companies have them and go to the same areas we do (including Cali which doesn't have an APU weight exemption). The company still uses steel wheels on their trailers for *bleep* sake.

All the info I can find on it is from 2018 or before, and the Bill that would make it legal has been stalled since 2010.

Let's see...one of the last number of propaganda video the company put out they said 'the shops have gotten caught up, so, if you need a service, stop by a company shop'. So, I did. Checked in at 630 for an A service, and a inverter replacement. He said my DPF filter was also due. Now it's 14:30, and I count 6 or 8 empty truck bays with so-called 'techs' walking around, and I am still sitting here behind the shop patiently waiting. Glad I wasted my day burning fuel and raising my idle percentage for fun

Right after I got in the truck it smelled like it was melting and ever since it cuts off bouncing down rough roads, or nuke something for a few minutes, then stop it to stir...and it just cuts off. Sometimes it comes right back on, other times it's minutes. And it's not the wiring or the breaker/fuse because the cpap inverter is hooked up to the same wires and never goes out.

    Bumper and Jarhed1964 Thank this.

Yeah we have a W990 with the table and it is cool. The dash has most of the extra gages available for display, unless the mega's make a deal and get Paccar to limit them.

    Jarhed1964 Thanks this.
