Once in a while a bad trailer is normal, but more bad trailers than good isn't normal, especially for a company this size, with the reputation they claim to have...(which we wll know is a figment of their imagination)

Well, just hang on for another month so you can get your wife’s situation straightened out and move on to another pasture. It may not be greener but hopefully different.

@supersnackbar have you looked in to bulkmatic by any chance? I’ve seen they have a position, maybe called “system” where you’re out 3 weeks at a time, no unloading, but pulling loads in the lower 48. Ive seen it advertised in Nashville at 90K per year, not sure if this position is offered out of their jax terminal but might be something to look in to. Assigned trucks, new anthems. Also, Ive seen cardinal logistics has been advertising out of gainesville for drivers who fly out for 3 week dispatch filling in on different accounts, I believe 90K or so was also being offered. It’s not hard to tell you’re a good fella with a good work ethic, you just need to find that company that appreciates you.
xlsdraw and supersnackbar Thank this. -
File this under "your day could be worse". Coming across I-64 from I-81 all the way to St. Louis, I get just a few miles south of the Beckley Service Plaza on I-77/64 and come to a complete stop. About 90 minutes later, just past the US-19 entrance ramp north bound, I see why
Yes, that's one bike on the rollback, and trike holding up the SUV (Sorry for the bugs on the windshield). Not sure what transpired, but I don't see white sheets covering vehicles, and no large blood pools, so it would appear that no one died at the scene.Lonesome, JoeyJunk, Jarhed1964 and 1 other person Thank this. -
That area has been bad since they started construction way back when.

Another day in paradise. 1 3/4 hours to get in, drop/hook and exit my customer this morning. Then, just after getting on the interstate (I-270) there in Pontoon Beach IL, another crash that blocked traffic. Right at exit 3 before crossing the river into MO
A piece of a green hood from a truck, which I thought was odd because all you could see on the ramp, at first was
But then, as you get further down the ramp
With a hitchhiker
(That's a light pole that came along for the off road adventure)
And then
Not sure how it all transpired again, but...once again, no sheets covering bodies, and no lifeflight helicopter that I saw..dwells40, Jarhed1964 and Lonesome Thank this. -
Question on Shaffer trucks… are they still 10 speeds, any automatics, and do they come equipped with anything such as refrigerators, TVs?
