Columbus, OH. They offered some ice cream, but ice cream doesn't agree with my guts. I have looked into Schuster in the past, but there was something that made me decide against them. Nof sure if it was pay, or where I live or what, but there was something.

Just managed to get to my fuel stop on the dot, with 20 left on the clock and borderline red zone on the fuel Guage. Checked in at 1230am and got a door around 8am. Only have 15,000 lbs so took them less than an hour to load me. Here's hoping they pay me detention or layover for waiting over 24 hours but I never had an appointment so who knows where they will 'start' the detention clock.

Someone must not of needed their load locks cause right next to me was a stack of 20 of those bars, all in perfect condition. Yard driver said some driver just through them out his trailer before loading and left them.

I have to admit, even with having to call someone in to reload and adjust, the ice cream plant had me out of there faster than a lot of regular live loads do. Hats off to them :salute:. I was still a little over on the trailer, but didn't have enough to spare on the drives to move 1 more pin. And was just enough under gross that I could do the 50 gal shuffle. It's rare to have to do that here, but sometimes it just works out that way.

And then, I get to the guardhouse, and my Peoplenet decided to shut down the efleetsuite app. It said 'restart app' and I hit 'ok'. But, it didn't restart it like it should, and I didn't realize I was on 'off duty' until I hit 30 miles from the plant when the red and white box with the white 'compliance' triangle appeared. Turns out, it thought the box was off and I was driving. It gave me a 'power compliance' violation, even though I pulled over, rebooted and changed the last 30 minutes from off duty to drive time. #### Peoplenet anyway!!!!! Bunch of useless self-pleasuring wankers :jerk:

Just shut off the reefer, wait for enough ice cream to melt out the drain holes, and it's all good! ;)

People Net sucks. Drivers who have never used Qualcomm don't know what they're missing.

It was actually pretty decent 5 or so years ago. Used it at Heartland and it worked great. Much better than it does now.

We had Peoplenet until last spring. Started locking up, wouldn’t update, etc and we dumped it and got Encompass tablets through JJ Keller. Works great and no issues so far.

Much of your Peoplenet issues are down to customizations unique to your company. We run more vanilla and don’t have nearly as many problems with the tablets as you do. Of course we’re also not pushing the functionality of the product either so that helps.

Lol they’re probably trying to get AI to take over from your asset managers so they can reduce headcount and make more cash…

I think you're right about the Peoplenet problems being caused by this company. We had the exact same units at Wymoore, which even had the Workflow turned on (Crete doesn't use workflow), and they weren't nearly as problematic as these. They would still occasionally do weird stuff, but nowhere near as often. In one of the Crete propaganda videos they said they are working on adding navigation to these, which unless they put new units in, would be tough, because these don't have enough RAM available to add a full CoPilot to the system with all the other crap they have on it.

Kind of like ...Crete can't figure out...why the opti-idle has so many problems...but they keep modifying and changing the systems parameters...which doesn't fix anything and only makes opti-idle worse
