I agree. In my opinion, the only way to properly fix it is to turn it off and add an APU which aren't perfect, but have way less issues than what we have now. But hey, it's their company, they can do what they believe is best in order to fill their wallets and their bank accounts... regardless of how happy or unhappy their revenue generators are.

I seem to be stuck on some Texas/Nebraska back in forth type runs. Went from Americool Dallas to Wal-Mart North Platte. Then a tyson run going back down to Texas. Now my next load for tomorrow is a live at Americool Ft worth headed back to that Walmart.

Lucky you...they sent me 2 pplans at once yesterday. A 2-stop that delivered by midnite yesterday (which I didn't have time in my 14 to do) and a load that picks up after I del my current load this afternoon going to Sterling IL for Friday. I said no to the multistop and yes to the Sterling(With a PTA for 2 hours after it's delivery appt)....now my A/M says I said yes to the first and no to the second...I asked him, if that was the case, why did I set my PTA for Friday on a load that delivers Tuesday...he hasn't replied.

Told him to NOT send any more multiple preplans at once because they always get screwed up. Told him, if he does, I say no to both.

*Update...just had it out with my A/M. HE calls me wondering why I won't take the 2 stopper. Claims that they go to the same place...but have totally different addresses. Then when I tell him that maybe they should have said something yesterday informing me that it goes to the same place...then while he is explaining something, he asked a question...then talks down to me like I was his child for rudely interrupting him when I tried to answer...which resulted in him hearing the sounds of silence (after I hung up on him)...then he starts messaging me about the whole situation and to not call him and hang up.... WTF..You called me MF'er....all of which only pours gasoline on the hole he made when he poked this bear...needless to say, I told him basically, if he ever speaks to me like that again, he will only get voicemail from then on...and if he doesn't like that, tell his boss to move me to another board because I have had it with him.

I think that you are showing the classic signs of Short-haul Burnout Syndrome. Even worse, Short-haul Reefer Burnout Syndrome. It's amazing what a few days, or several days, of just driving, can do to refresh a driver's mind.

I don't have what it takes to do it for many weeks at a time like you are trying to do.

Preferably in a truck with a different name on the side...

And to be honest, Creaffer is making me miss Wylie a little. I never got this mad this often with them...

When's the last time that you drove for a company with a long average length of haul?

Here, the 1st 3 or 4 months. Before that, Poly, on the rare few times I could go more than 1 or 2 loads without a breakdown.

With the long wait tines.. at Creffer shops for service....and the opti-idle problems...due to constant reprogramming of the system...wish they would put somebody in charge of maintenance ...that a few years of hands on mechanical experience...sorry Winston...nepotism doesn't make you qualified to be head of maintenance department

Speed_Drums, Lonesome and Jarhed1964 Thank this.

I thought someone said he is now running Hunt, or is he trying to do both.

    Jarhed1964 Thanks this.

Winston didn't take over at Hunt ...it was just a truck driver rumor....Mark Swanson still has the job
