Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

I noticed the change on my PN home screen as well. One of the Q&A propaganda videos mentioned they were working in adding navigation a while back. It'll be Co-pilot for trucks(which is part of Trimble). When I was at Moore, some of the older PN's had it. I had it on my 1st truck over there, really didn't care for it on the PN because it was too much of a PITA having navigation, elog, and all your messages crammed into one box when it came to switching from one to the other... and all that extra memory/processor usage for a stand-alone navigation app made the whole system more sluggish. When Wylie took over, they refused to spend the yearly license fee and just never added it when they updated the units to the ELD system (older units were only AOBR or EOBR, not ELD). I honestly hope Creaffer makes it an option to turn it on or not.

 

We just got a message this morning...the mandate does NOT apply to solo drivers

 

One of the reasons I don't sit at a truckstop lunch counter or stay inside a terminal unless my truck is in the shop

 

Even if it did cover solo drivers, they wouldn't fire you for not taking the shot. They would just insist YOU get tested weekly(at your expense) and wear a mask 100% of the time on duty. Then if you didn't comply with that, termination would be completely justifiable and hiring a lawyer would be an expensive waste of money on your part. Not to many companies out there willing to risk getting caught not enforcing it and get a $14k fine per person from OSHA.
