    Yup, it's all 'Brandon'.

It has nothing to due with citrus crop yields dropping 4% in both 2021 and 2020, nor anything to do with increased consumer demand.

It also is not a trend that started 4 years ago.

And inflation definitely has nothing to do with the massive tax cuts, deficit spending, and trade wars of 45.

Living in a state that grows and ships citrus, I am familiar with all the problems...a few things you forgot to mention...increased cost of fuel to transport them and increased cost of labor to process them. Inflation is at the highest level in 31 years(and it isn't just deficit spending causing this spike), all of which contributes to the cost. And their is no teriffs influencing the cost here...these were grown, picked processed and shipped within the borders of the good 'ole US of A...but $0.75 per orange? I bought a mesh bag of them 2 weeks ago when I was home. (Which had about a dozen oranges) They didn't cost me $9 in FL, but if I would have bought a dozen in IL, with sales tax it would have been that much. And these were some of the sorriest looking oranges I have ever seen.

Did anybody notice that there was no propaganda video this week? I guess it's "no news is good news" in Lincoln this week.

It wasn't sticking to the roads, but the grassy areas got a nice coating. Enough snow that I saw some Amish kids having a snowball fight as I was heading east.
