Couple of things for those that aren’t aware… The new West Memphis terminal is under construction schedule to be done in 18 months…
Also found out that they are for the time being going to be stop servicing several customers because they refuse to stop the massive delays in detaining the trucks at their docks..
The information I got yesterday they also stated they have told customers that want to hold the trucks up for hours on end to piece count every single piece of freight on their dock before they let the truck out that our job is to Haul it from point a to point B and we got your Freight to you release our trucks or we’re going to be taking action ..
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

And I never understood why more places don't just sign the bills received, seal intact, STCC(subject to count and condition) and then it's up to them to work with the shipper on any O or S, and call the Creaffer CSR on any D (as in OS&D)nredfor88, Gearjammin' Penguin, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -

Weird...went to bed in Spiceland, IN and it was chilly. Thinking it was gonna get cold, I turned on the bunk heater. Woke up around 2 am in a pool of sweat, looked at the outside thermometer and it said 64°. Around 6:30 am headed for a shower and it's shirtsleeve weather. Guess this is the push of warmth before the cold front moves thru today or tomorrow.
Beats whats going on in western Canada. Hope BC (where the homebase of Jamie Davis from The Highway Thru Hell tv show) is cutoff from the rest if the provence by flooding and washed out bridges. And the Coquihalla, which is one of the more important freight routes in that region, is closed indefinitely because of major storm damage. From what I saw on the news of that area, it makes the I-70 landslide in CO a number of months ago seem like a simple cleanup.
The tunnel in the 1st part of this video is one of the crossover tunnels they use to get from one direction of the Coq to the other...right now, it seems as though a huge stretch of the entire road is simply gone....#### glad I live down here!!!!

It was 75 and sunny a couple days ago in Nebraska, close to it the day before that. Calm before the storm?

Wow, our bereavement officer has been busy this week...a bunch of our drivers are losing their battle with the beer flu.
