The reefers talk to the system, when they're turned on. But when they're off, I don't think they do...probably because they'd drain the battery. Not sure why they don't do like Walmart did and put those small solar charged gps units in the nose. Heck, even the cheapeskates at Big G were installing a system that could not only tell them where the trailer was, but if it was empty or loaded...I remember, back in my Crete days, there were a few test trailers with some sort of electronics in the nose...but they never went full fleet on them for some reason.

Well, I got the 'high priority' meat load delivered on time, with a little more time on my 70 than I thought. Put in a full break waiting for an empty, just before midnite I checked with one of the cold storages up there and they had 1 empty. Got it, dropped it at the meat plant and hauled arse. And #### does that meat plant stink. Managed to make Washington Courthouse with over an hour to spare, and only 1 empty there too. Thinking I was just gonna hit the truckstop and call it a day, they sent me load. Reynoldsburg to KC for Monday that doesn't pu until tomorrow, which is fine by me, I had a hard time sleeping in the daytime that close to a full night sleep the night before. Basically I managed a cumulative 2 or 3 hours between 4 a.m. Friday thru 10 on Saturday...just like old times. Now I am east of Columbus at the Love's and some much needed sleep...it won't be hard to sleep this time, I am getting too old for this crap

Don’t you guys have a terminal just north of Atlanta in Marietta I believe? Used to live up that way I could swear I thought you guys had a terminal in the metro Atlanta area

Still remember when someone stole a trailer from the Marietta yard by ramming the exit gate. Took them awhile to install a new one.

Already sent my next load preplan, and I haven't even picked up my current load. Chillicothe MO to the Chicagoland area for Tuesday...tight timing on the pickup, but Ops said we can work with the shipper if I can't make the appointment. For a holiday week, it might end up being a decent mile week anyway.
