    Uggggh, this lack of empties is getting old really fast. Dropped my load at the customer 2 miles from the yard...no empty. They bobtailed me to the yard to pu a specific trailer. But....it was damaged in the front corner all the way to the insulation, and locked out...but the shop never wrote it up or put it out of service. Now I am back doing a easter egg hunt again...kinda wish they'd limit the drop/hooks and just marry a trailer to my truck and I do live load/unloads, might be quicker in the grand scheme of things

    They need to go get all those new reefers in Virginia at utility asap and put them into service

    I would like to thank you for getting Karma's attention...my A/M pissed me off so bad today, if I were in Lincoln, I would've not only lost my job, but my freedom as well because I would have thrown him out a window. Finally found an empty at A-whole-grocers in KC. Told him before I left the KC yard, when I couldn't take the damaged trailer, that I wouldn't make either the PU or Del appointments. When I finally got to AWG, picked up the trailer and blew the pallet scraps out of it, I updated my eta to the shipper. Got to the shipper, got a door assignment and, because I was 90 min late, I was a work-in. Told them I would update them as to an eta to del once I was loaded. 30 min later I get 2 preplans.(something I told him not to do because no matter what order I reply to them-with trip numbers on the canned message, he screwes them up)...so I type, in plain, easy to understand english, that I will do it this way, so there is no mistake or misunderstanding, Trip number xxxxxxx, yes pta xx/xx/xx...trip number yyyyyyy, no, reason- not sure when I will be delivering current load due to loading delay, not sure I could make delivery within my 14... The 'yes' load was a load off the Joliet yard going to UT for Friday. The 'no' load was a short #### load, that delivered at 4 pm tomorrow...and I was in MO at 4pm today, still not even started being loaded, and this delivers north of Romeoville sometime tomorrow once an appointment has been rescheduled...most likely will have to start my day as early as my logbook allows in order to make it to delivery...and making a 4 pm live unload of a short run impossible. Around an hour later, I ask about an update on the new appointment on this load, and inform him that the short run is absolutely impossible at this point...he reply's fine, I'll ask them to remove you from preplanns...NOOOOO, I said I could do the UT load, just can't do the other because it's beyond my 14...and I got no update on my current load's delivery time. I then went ballistic on numnutz, telling him to give me back the UT load and then I proceed to go off some more about his ability to do his job, and even his ability to comprehend the english language...then I get a preplan to MD, that has to be there Weds...BOOOOOM, this is when I exploded. I then get a message from the next shift...after F'g me out of a $900 run, and putting me on a load he knows I cannot legally do, the f-tard went home....my patience with this moron is gone...and I am calling Deland in the morning and asking to be removed from his board, switched to Crete, or ask them how many cuss words on the Peoplenet I can get away with before I get fired, because he only got the message when I was pissed and was going off on him via the #####box.

    Well, t'was an interesting day. Had a 15-20 min discussion with my A/M 1st thing this a.m. He says it was the planner(s) that F'd me on that UT load because it was a package deal, you have to run the short load in order to get the longer run. If you can't then the deal is off. Which I call bull-bleep- on, because I have been doing more than my share of short runs the last couple quarters and haven't been getting an equal number of longer runs. Plus he said there was some issues with the system in Lincoln because some of his messages that he tried to send to me were still in 'pending' status when he came in this morning, so he felt that I was just in a bad area...and again I call BS because the next shift's messages came thru just fine and I was sitting in the exact same place the whole time... But he knows, I am in an extremely foul mood none the less. And it didn't improve when I went to deliver the s### show load. Load info said I was delivering to Dhaliwal Laboratories (a cosmetic manufacturer)...but this was an export load of pork shoulders...going to a cosmetic lab (the joke about putting lipstick on a pig fits here)...I thought it was odd, but, I'm not paid to think so.....I went to check in and the guy laughed...wrong place sir...he called his boss and he said that is like the 3rd or 4th load in the last few weeks that showed up there. So, now I had to find out where I was suppose to be. Turns out, the customer sent in the wrong address and company name...and a correction was made, but, in typical Lincoln fashion, nobody thought to inform the one person who needed the new info, namely. THE DRIVER DELIVERING THE #### LOAD. And he wonders why I am so temperamental and pissey all the time...geeez wonder why.
