I'm in Colorado right now. Just word Cheyenne is completely closed. I 80 is closed, i25 North out of Cheyenne closed, AND just got a msg from dispatch that Colorado has closed I25 going into Wyoming. Going to be a lot of trucks parked everywhere. However they say there will be no baricades preventing passage North but it is highly advised to seek another route North.

80 shows closed on Google Maps from Cheyenne all the way west to Ft. Bridger. And there is a big system coming in from SoCal that is suppose to move east slowly, so it might be an interesting week out west. Thankfully I got a load out of NE heading to TN for Tues...which is a 2x good thing. I won't have to deal with that crap and I won't have to deal with butthead until Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning when they send me my next screwed up load

Update-. They've moved the closed section west to Evanston, and now Google Maps is showing a Blizzard Warning for areas in WY.

I know coming across I-64 out of Mt.Vernon all the way across IL, the wind was blowing like I was like I was in WY yesterday. And that I-70 arch bridge when you cross over the river into St. Louis was interesting, thankfully nobody was beside me. I've only got 17,000 lbs and it pushed me halfway into one lane, the reversed direction and blew me halfway into the other. A lot of MO was windy, but not as bad...but this morning I wake up in Syracuse, NE to my truck rocking again...looks like a another wonderful day because I go west with a light load, then back east to Lexington, NE empty.

According to Caltrains website, there were three spun out big rigs, one doesn’t even speak English and had no idea how to put chains on. The East Indians have completely ruined trucking out here. That’ll sound terrible, but it’s true. They just run like crazy and don’t give a #### what happens.

I remember when the Bosselman's in Grand Island was a decent place to stop. Now that the Flying Peelot has taken it over, I hate coming here, and it seems that any time I am in the area, this ends up being my fuel stop. I can never get in, fuel and out in under 30-45 minutes...the pump's are gawdaful slow, the def pump is slow, a bunch of the card reader's pin pads are broken...and to top it off, their pump readers NEVER read my Peelot points card. Today, 1st 2 pumps, the pin pads were down so you had to go in to turn on the pump. On the 1st one, I tried to go in, but, the line was all the way back into the store, so I moved to another pump...pin pad down, went to the 3rd pump(I didn't have the patience to stand in line 20 min just to turn on the pump so they could make money...and too sorry to have parts in stock to fix their pumps). Finally the 3rd pump's pin pad worked, but when I went to put DEF in the truck, I could pee at a higher flow rate than the pump could pump. I decided to park instead of tying up a fuel pump because I had to make a donation to the porcelain collection bowl...but while in there, I checked to see if my points were added and sure enough, they weren't. So after I finished, I went to get a receipt so I could scan the purchase in manually (they won't add the points for you here, you have to do it yourself). The problem, I don't keep my fuel card or points card in my regular wallet anymore, I have a seperate card wallet I keep in the truck, but the kiosk was down, so I had to wait in that long ### line...and then Einstein couldn't find my truck number(after moving twice, I forgot what pump I was on)...so I had to go back out to the truck, get my cards, come back in and wait in another 'Disney ride' length line, just to get a receipt. Then, I had to inconvenience the lady at the Subway to make me a flatbread breakfast sammich (at least that's how she acted)...I felt like saying to her, "I'm sorry to inconvenience you by asking you to do your job, perhaps you would prefer unemployment and welfare"...I have grown to hate this truckstop. I bet old man Bosselman is rolling over in his crypt seeing how bad Pilot has screwed up his truckstops.

It’s amazing how anyone could get up in the morning and have as many problems as you do daily.
