Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Sounds like the load I had from Carthage, MO to the Chicagoland area a few weeks ago...which was a load of export pork going to S Korea, but PNet said deliver it to a cosmetic manufacturer. Ops said go where we say, when I got there they looked at me like I was stupid...then my A/M said 'the customer changed the delivery name and address, go there instead', like I have access to the computer system...he finally sent me the new directions after I threatened to return it to sender.

But, like I've said, the busier we get the more this company's Op's department looks like this

I still randomly get the "your truck hasn't moved, and you haven't sent a message in xx hours" b.s., but not every time I sit over 10 hours... anyone else still get that crap? I just send about 10 lines of question marks.

 

I get 10-15 hour breaks prettty much all the time, not so much waiting on loads, just waiting while under loads. This load, I dilly-dallied getting to the Terrell T/A yesterday around 15:30-16:00, because this load didn't deliver until 17:15 today, 8 miles away. That last Tyson nightmare load out of Lexington, I got to the truckstop the day before and had 16 hours before I showed up to pick it up...then sat there almost 7 hrs past my pu time waiting for them to get around to loading it. I have gotten to the point where I stop pushing the brain trust to tighten things up because they only get worse when I do.

And what is this Reset thing you're referring to. It's been so long since they let me take one, I forget what they are
