Got my load of tortillas loaded this morning without issue. Told them last night that since I was gonna have to wait until this morning to load that I wouldn't make the midnight delivery tonight. This a.m. butthead said to let him know asap if they weren't gonna load me right away, that they had other loads elsewhere to move, and to keep me moving...(why didn't they think of that yesterday????). I messaged him back saying that I basically am past the point of caring, and in fact, giving a #### and caring have been permanently removed from my bucket list. I also told him that, since the company nags, nannies and reminds us about everything except breathing like we're seat warming steering wheel holding mindless idiots, that's just the kind of performance they'll get from me from now on...I will be a non-thinking automaton incapable of independent thought, just like management wants us to be, which also includes fixing their junk equipment. I also messaged him that, before he asks when I can be at the receiver, he should ask his computer that since it knows more about doing my job than I do. And his very next message was...once loaded, give me a safe and legal eta to consignee... I asked if he bothered to read my last message, and the most accurate eta I could give was ''I'll get there when I get there"...he claims he is just trying to keep me moving...oh great...4 days before the end of the year and now he decides to keep me moving....nice timing Einstein.

How are you on your year to date goal?
Since I left for that small time it reset for me, but since being back I'm around 5000 miles ahead of where the average is. Didn't even realize they gave me a new dispatcher. Just noticed the name change on the msgs.
On another note Jewel might not be so bad(for now)
Got here 40 min early, and was given a door in 10 minutes after checking in. Door was on other side of building and there is not a single truck or trailer in any of these docks. Have all the room in the world to back in. Moment I hit that dock, light went red and got a txt saying Capstone has started to unload me.
Let's see if they can keep up the momentum or if I'll just end up sitting here. This load might just get a 5 star instead of a 1Speed_Drums, Lonesome and mdmgolfin Thank this. -
And everything was going so well...
As I was sitting getting unloaded the truck suddenly had errors light up the dash.
Transmission will not shift being the primary one and now it auto shut off the moment you start it up.
Break down says to just leave it in on position, and rotate between drive - neutral - reverse a few times then turn off and disconnect the power for 20 minutes to see if it clears the error.
If not...well time to call a tow truck. Would be my first breakdown in this truck.
Only thing that could just cause something like this would be a sensor just randomly going out :/Speed_Drums and tallguy66 Thank this. -

No, simple put it on auto start incase the battery got low running the bunk heater.
Well I did the first 20 minutes and the red errors went away, but now I have Starter Blocked error and told to just do it one more time and if it still doesn't clear I'll need to be towed. -
-
Seems to work regardless of settings but will get a load shedding msg after while if i don't put it on.
Still waiting here at the customer. Already unloaded but Starter is blocked.
Breakdown cant find a tow that will take me and my trailer so just waiting for dispatch to find out from the planners what they want done with it.
Tow truck hasent even started heading here yet till they figure out what they want done.Speed_Drums and Lonesome Thank this. -
Feel bad when tow guy finally gets here cause he is going to have to get on all 4s in the slush and go under the truck to separate the drives and cage the brakes.
He is suppose to tow me to our drop yard in Juliet to drop this trailer then come back to Chicago to put in a shop yard. Need to start looking up hotels/motels.
Was given a $100/day limit but that would just get me the cheap roach motels. Wonder if they will still pay the $100 if I upgrade to a nicer place and I just pay the difference.Speed_Drums Thanks this. -
