The difference is now the stakes are higher and the consequences or screwing up are more severe.

Talked to my fleet manager yesterday. Before going thru the process of swapping trucks, she said that if they are turning the cameras off, we should try that first. Plus, the software update that is suppose to be available is supposed to help with the drivability of these trucks.

I am on a load from Joisey down to Kennesaw. Pu Sat, del Sun. Then I will head to the Marietta yard for a bestpass transponder replacement, and possibly an A service and a battery check. I got a message from Deland last week about my high idle time, but told them that this truck's opti idle starts 2 or 3 times a night on battery mode when just using the bunk heater, my cooler and a phone charger, so he(the assistant fleet manager) thinks I might have a bad battery on this 25,000 mile truck.

There is a big difference in running over a cone versus taking out a mirror on a brand new Pete. Intimidation is part of the training.

8 am on a Saturday and an hour delay coming across the Cross Bronks and WB GW...all because they decided to close the lower deck(and the A'holes can't read those multi-million dollar overhead signs...like normal). If I weren't headed off of 287, I woulda went across the Z.

    Typical New York attitude....

“Those signs don’t apply to ME.”

I'm in a 19 Cascadia. When I'm in Amish country, I rarely use the cruise. It will spot a buggy moving down the side of the road, the red collision light comes on, and throws the truck into a panic stop......

I swear they could save millions in purchase, installation and maintenance if they just didn't put them up in the 1st place.
