It got worse. After loading, my 1st forced fuel stop was the T/A in Baltimore...and the road you get to them from 95 SB (which is also the same road others would take to get to 95 NB) was closed for construction. So, zig zag zig zag, finally got in to put fuel in...then the buttons on the pump were borked. In and out of the fuel c'store twice. Got out of there, then just before you get to the bypass around DC, traffic came to a screeching stop. Got thru that eventually, and then the usual stop and wait traffic between the south side bypass and the scales. This truck gave me Excedrin headache #1, even with the sound mufflers over the speakers.

I did discover that this system will indeed bring you down to a complete stop by itself. While in the b.s. of the Cross Bronx, sitting still, I hit the resume on the cruise. It wanted to wait for too large of a gap between vehicles before it started moving by itself, but just a tap of the gas pedal and it pulled away, then stopped and held itself in place without me doing a thing when traffic stopped in front of me.

Dear Crete/Shaffer recruiting
You can stop sending out messages every couple days urging us to con someone into working here. I have tried, but when they hear about all the nanny systems the company puts in the truck and how horrible it is trying to get anything done at any of the company shops. And how overly micromanaging the whole company is, they shake their head, ask me how I put up with this crap and walk away. It's a wonder they need more than 1 person in the recruiting office...I can't believe anyone would voluntarily promote this place. Right now, only positive I have to show people is good miles (with lots of time away from home - by choice of course)
Signed

I tried to get my toll transponders replaced at Marietta. I was just told this morning that they can't, and I have to go somewhere else because they are so backed up, it's a 72-96 hour wait for any repairs. I told them that it wasn't a repair, that Lincoln told me to swap these at any company shop...but they have to treat it like it's a repair, and the lazy ### morons can't take 5 god #### minutes to swap a small pack of plastic with 2 transponders in it. Why did I ever come back!!!
