Not super recent, but yes. Make sure you get a washout. Shaffer has an account at the place just down the street from the pilot in grand island iirc. There's another washout right at the corner by jbs.

Why are they even bothering to message you about the temp at all, if they know so much and can do it themselves?

Typical luck on my part. The moment I get into this loaner and get a load, I'm told my old truck is now ready to go. In the near future they want me to work with dispatch, to get me a load going close or tcalling at a terminal so they can get me a rental car to drive back up to Chicago to pick up my red truck. Hopefully they pay all my hotel expenses cause I racked up over $800 over the 6 days I was there

I'm kinda baffled by that myself. Sometimes the load info on the Peoplenet and on the B/L don't match when you send in the load call...if they can change it over the air, why do I even have to do anything...if they can fix it...fix it.

Actually, I truly believe that they don't trust the people they hire to drive. That's why they feel they have to put all the nanny ######## on the trucks...because we can't be trusted to drive right. That's why they remind you every load about bridge laws when you go into states like FL and CA. That's why they remind you about speed limits in construction zones. That's why they tell you every time you go out west to make sure you have the right number of tire chains, or how CO is cracking down on logs, and all the ELD instruction sheets or blank paper logs ...they tell us every time because they don't view us as their most valuable assets like they advertise, they think we're ignorant mindless idiots incapable of walking and chewing gum at the same time.

You work for a mega and probably half of your drivers fall into that category. That’s why you get the canned messages. Have you not been there long enough now to figure that out?

Don’t know don’t care, I’m single and don’t take any prescriptions. Never needed a sick day on the road in close to ten years. Life’s not fair, even the government doesn’t take 10 holidays. Some of us have to work for our money.
