Goodlettsville? If it is, I delivered there before Christmas. The road to their plant looks like a road trucks aren't supposed to be on. I grabbed an empty and hauled arse.

Load is a live unload that's 620 miles away from their plant on the 12th at a food lions warehouse. Hopefully I can just bobtail in cause I don't have an empty and don't really want to run around Nashville looking for one to drop at Tyson.

Not really unless they too don't have an empty. Dispatch will try and find one but if not told to just go in as bobtail.

Dispatch wants me to go back to the customer I dropped at this morning and pick up my trailer since it should be done by then.

    Speed_Drums Thanks this.

We also switched from PeopleNet to Samsara. I didn't see the reason but it's their company and they can do what they want. It doesn't affect me. If the routes aren't in there, it"s their fault. They can jump up and down, ##### and moan but it makes no difference to me. I could care less. We clock in and out on our phones and are able to edit our logs with our phones.

Okay I jinxed myself. Picked up a trailer with a bad tire, not flat though! Just not exactly round anymore. I do love having good local connections, tire shop right down the road from our yard in LA. Pull right in 5 minutes later they are working on me. No 5 hour wait at the TA. Well, they put me on the "high priority" load after all. But, they gave me until noon tomorrow to deliver. And, unlike JBS's "high priority" load, this could pick up at my discretion. Then, 15 min after I accepted it, I get a message that it was already loaded. So, off to the shipper I go. And this place is somewhere between the middle of nowhere and BFE...and knowing that I'll be starting before sunrise in order to get this load delivered, they plan me on my next load that picks up at 19:30 tomorrow night, beyond my 14, but not late enough to squeeze in a split in between.

JoeyJunk, Speed_Drums and dwells40 Thank this.
